This series in progress of female portraits explores the quiet intensity of the gaze where emotion is held, not spoken. Each figure exists outside of identity and narrative, not defined by name, place, or story, but by presence alone.

These women are not portraits of individuals, but studies of ‘the windows to the soul”. What remains is what cannot be easily explained: longing without direction, stillness with tension, softness carrying weight.

The eyes become the central language of each work. They do not perform, but reveal. They invite the viewer to pause, to wonder, and to project meaning into what is intentionally left unsaid.
